Where does the SpyderEVO fall short?
Despite the short installation time, the SpyderEVO does come with a good number of flaws.
- There have been plenty of complaints about LawnBott’s product not being able to power on. After several attempts at exchanging the product, one of its users only found success with powering on the machine when he received his third exchange.

Equipped with an emergency stop and an auto-stop function whenever it’s lifted off the ground, the robot is able to stand its ground as a device that’s relatively safe around children. It’s also worth mentioning that adjusting the mower’s height is easy. The other features about this particular model are quite standard and nothing out of the norm.
Are there any downsides?
Just like any other type of robotic lawn mower, the LV-Robot product isn’t perfect all around. Although the Auto Robot Lawn Mower boasts several safety features, there’s always the possibility of it injuring someone by running over his or her feet. There’s a full second delay for it take shut itself off, giving the device an ample amount of time to cause harm.
Let’s talk about Husqvarna’s Automower 220AC
Finally, let’s take a look at what we’re all here for. The mentioned brands above weren’t what I expected, and not in a good way. One of the most impressive features about Husqvarna’s Automower 220AC isn’t the product itself, but its customer support. They’ve addressed almost every single query that I could throw at them, and even went to the extent of guiding me to make an informed decision. They recommended to Automower 220AC to me based on the size of my yard, along with my various needs and concerns.
What is good about it
The Automower 220AC also boasts impressive results, outperforming the rest of its competitors by a large margin. If you’re looking to turn your lawn into perfection, your best bet would be to go with the Automower 220AC. The product also comes with a unique weather timer, programming it to mow the lawn based on the grass’ growth rate. This means that it cuts more when your grass grows faster, and it sleeps more when your grass isn’t.
Furthermore, the Husvarna Automower 220AC is also extremely quiet. You can be rest assured that the robot isn’t going to wake up the neighbors when it starts its regular rounds after the sun goes down. Its randomized pattern requires it to run for longer periods of time during each mowing session, but it also improves the overall quality of your lawn, ensuring an event height each time.
Final thoughts about the Husqvarna Automower 220AC
We’ve taken a look at two serious competitors against the Automower 220AC, and the latter still managed to tower over them effortlessly. It wins hands-down based on the product’s form factor, safety features, and performance. Husqvarna has certainly done an impressive job with their robotic lawn mowers. Coupled with a customer support team that’s always ready to help, the Husqvarna brand name has certainly earned its ranks as being one of the best robotic lawn mower producers in the industry. It’s ability to climb slopes on its own and weatherproofing are 2 additional features that should be enough to change your mind.
